About Natural Connections, LLC
Natural Connections Connecticut, LLC provides unique offerings to connect with the world around you, with a focus on family and self connections. The programs are enrichment based and meant to be supplemental to your child’s homeschool learning journey or supplemental to traditional schooling to grow your family’s connection with the outdoors. Programs are interest-based and mostly child-led with stepping stones through guided lessons and hands-on activities for learning provided by the facilitator.
Our programs are designed to build community and engage with nature. While there will be opportunities for set learning activities, the main focus will be allowing the child’s interests to lead us, fostering a sense of confidence and independence.
About Your Facilitator
Caitlyn (me! I will write this in first person:) is a homeschooling mom of two with a passion for nature and a background in education (M. Ed.) I much prefer the classroom without walls and spending time with children in their natural habitat, watching their natural curiosity fuel them. My favorite part about teaching was and always will be getting to hangout with, lead and connect with miniature humans. Leading programs through Natural Connections is my outlet to do just that, and I love every second of our life-classroom that has no bounds.
